Just wanted to start a bit of a blog for everyone to see so I could better keep my fan base informed about what I'm up to as well as, hopefully reach out to new people who may be interested in my photography. Since this is my first blog on here I'll start by telling you a little about me. I'm a photographer with over 20 years in the business. I don't really specialize in on specific type of photography but actually many styles. I am always pushing the envelope of what is possible in the medium of photography exploring both past, present and future methods. I have shown in galleries in NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles and am scheduled for my first show ever in Europe this spring in Brussels. My current projects are two fold, for the last 2 year I have been working on many techniques and styles of "light Painting". Thats when you use an long exposer and various hand held lights to light the subjects in your photograph. Here are some examples. I pride my self in the fact that I used no photoshop in any of these images. Not that I have anything against photoshop, quite the contrary, I embrace it and use it for many effects that wouldn't be possible without it. It's just that I think a photographer who wants to be a true master needs to learn all aspects of the skill.
